BFL Platinum Sock (75% super wash Blue Faced Leicester, 25% Nylon), 425m/100g
8ply BFL (100% super wash Blue Faced Leicester), 225m/100g
MSY singles (4ply equivalent, 65% Merino, 20% silk, 15% yak), 480m/120g
DK SRS Merino singles (8ply equivalent, 100% SRS non super wash merino), 180m/100g
5ply SRS Merino (100% SRS non super wash merino), 320m/100g
To make things easy for you, all the colours have been labelled 1-12 on the image, corresponding with their day of reveal in the advent. All you have to do is check the advent day you loved the most, and select that colour.
So you’re aware - these colours were originally dyed on the 5ply SRS Merino, which is a non super wash base. Dyeing these colours onto other fibre bases will cause them to come out differently, as each fibre takes dye slightly differently. The 8ply BFL and 4ply BFL Platinum sock are both super wash, so any colour dyed on these bases will be brighter compared to the original on SRS. The MSY singles are grey naturally, so any colour dyed on these will be moodier and more intense than the original SRS. Days 4 and 5 are not available on the MSY base, as they will not show well on the naturally grey base.
