Bendigo Polwarth Pre-Order

$42.00

Dyed on fully traceable, Victorian processed wool, this microbatch of colours has been specially crafted for Bendigo, 2026.

The yarn sourced is 8ply Polwarth in the natural colour King’s Grey, from Belinda of Wyndara Black Sheep. Her yarns are from her family’s Responsible Wool Standard certified farm, where her beautiful coloured Polwarth sheep live. Scoured in Geelong, combed in Bacchus Marsh, Spun in Ballarat, and Dyed by me in Victoria, this is yarn is fully traceable from start to finish.

I have overdyed the King’s Grey in 4 colours - Nightshade, Figleaf, Purple Sage, and Oregano. Each skein is 100g, and 200m in length. They are designed to coordinate together, or shine on their own. The colours are deep, moody and heathered, reflecting the mix of natural coloured fibres blended to achieve the natural King’s Grey.

For the first time, due to the strictly limited number of skeins, I am doing a special pre-order: You can order these skeins for collection from me at the Bendigo Sheep and Wool Show, 2026.

Please note: The first picture was taken on my mobile phone, and is the best representation of these colours. Due to differences between screens, you may see a difference between your computer/phone screen compared to the skeins you get.
