Tarkine Two Tone Shawl Kit
Feeling the itch for a Christmas Cast On, but not sure where to start?
Overwhelmed by yarn stash choices, and want the colours chosen for you?
Look no further. I’ve put together 5 one of a kind kits of my delicious Tibetan Singles yarn for the Tarkine MKAL, being run by the wonderful Susanna of Sanna and Co.
Each kit contains:
3× 120g skeins Tibetan Singles in Colour A
2× 120g skeins Tibetan Singles in Colour B.
Each 120g Tibetan Single skein is approximately 480m in length, and is composed of 65% Superwash Merino, 20% Silk, and 15% Yak fibre. It has a delightful drape, and is next-to-skin soft.
There is only ONE of each kit. To participate in the knit along, you will need to purchase the pattern from Susanna at either her PAYHIP or at her RAVELRY These yarn kits do not include the pattern.
“The design is an exploration of colours and textures in the Tasmanian Landscape. It features Susanna’s usual bold design lines yet is infused with soft textures and interesting transitions. The wrap is named after the Tarkine wilderness area in North West Tasmania, the traditional lands of the Palawa Kani. The name Tarkine is derived from the Palawa Kani name for the region: Takayna.”
